Listening session hosted by the MA Division of Professional Licensure
BABAT would like all members to be aware that the Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions Board (AMHHSP) will be holding a listening session on the Applied Behavior Analyst Licensing law. Please see the notice that follows this message. The listening session will function to allow the public to express their opinions about the regulations that will be drafted to implement the licensing statute. This session will not involve a question and answer forum. The public is being solicited for input. Once a draft of these regulations is prepared there will be a public hearing at which the public can provide input based upon the proposed regulations. The draft regulations will be available to the public before this hearing. There will be an FAQ about the Behavior Analyst licensing board released soon by the Division of Professional Licensure (DPL). BABAT will send along this FAQ as soon as DPL releases it. DPL is the best source for up to date information about the licensing process. The homepage for AMHHSP is http://www.mass.gov/ocabr/licensee/dpl-boards/mh/.
The BABAT Student Relations Committee is pleased to announce the 2014 BABAT Student Paper Competition, the 2014 B.F. Skinner Foundation Student Research Award: A Call for Research Proposals, and the 2014 B.F. Skinner Foundation Student Poster Competition.
