2013 BABAT Social – **Sold Out**

The 2nd annual BABAT Social will be held on Thursday, April 11 from 5:45 to 9:00pm at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA. The event is an opportunity for local behavior analysts to come together and socialize, receive an ethics CEU, network, hear updates on licensure, and hear a great talk from a leader in our field.

   We are pleased to announce that this year’s speaker will be Dr. Mary Jane WeissDr. Weiss is the Executive Director of Research at Melmark. She is also a Professor at Endicott College, where she directs the Masters Program in ABA and Autism.  The evening will include a cocktail hour, Dr. Weiss’s talk, dinner, updates on licensure, and a raffle.

We hope you will be joining us for this very fun event! Demand for this event was great, and tickets have already sold out!

H 4555 - An Act Relative to Licensure of Behavior Analysts has been signed into law!

 

BABAT is pleased to announce that qualified Behavior Analysts will be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts under the Board of Registration of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professionals.  Two behavior analysts will be appointed to this board and the process will go into effect within 18 months of the promulgation of the rules and regulations for licensure. The board will be charged with establishing the regulations with respect to licensing behavior analysts as directed by the enacted law... [click here to read more].

First Ever BABAT Networking Event A Success!

BABAT held its first ever Networking Event Thursday, March 1st, at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA.  Despite the snow, the event was well-attended and a good time was had by all!  To find out more, click HERE.
