Membership Information

Become a BABAT member!

BABAT Membership is open to all persons interested in or actively engaged in teaching, research, or application of the principles of behavior analysis, and shall be in one of the following categories: 

  • Full Member and Affiliate members: $40/year
  • Student Members: $19/year
  • Supporting Members: $100 per year
  • Emeritus Members: Membership fee waived
    • Emeritus Members are nominated by the Board for exemplary service to BABAT, the Massachusetts State Professional Organization for Behavior Analysts. Contact us with any questions about the Emeritus membership category.

Full Member

  1. Full Member – Must be a resident of Massachusetts and/or an employee of a Massachusetts ABA program or business and qualify in at least one of the following categories:

    1.  Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the doctoral level (BCBA-D)
    2.  Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
    3.  Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
    4.  Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
    5.  Licensed Assistant Applied Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
    6.  A Ph.D. in behavior analysis AND teaching or conducting research in an ABA graduate program or running an ABA business.

Affiliate Member

Affiliate Member - Any person with an interest in behavior analysis who does not qualify for a Full or Student membership. Affiliate members will not be entitled to a vote.

Student Member

Student Member - Any person currently in a program of study leading to a degree in behavior analysis or a related discipline and/or enrolled in a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) approved program to meet course requirements for BACB certification.
